Calling artists working in distinct disciplines who are looking to bring their practice into an interdisciplinary setting.

This year the Indeterminacy Festival grapples with how to be an artist in heated times. Presented by the New York Arts Program and in association with Governors Island, the festival responds to the crisis of climate change through an interdisciplinary production. Bringing together an intergenerational team, IF invites artists to stay with the trouble of our current moment. Together, collaborators will work with materials, mediums, and sites to weave together a new way of living into the future.

The Indeterminacy Festival Bridge Fellowship offers selected applicants a full scholarship to collaborate in the 2024 Indeterminacy Creative Labs (May 28-June 6th) and the Indeterminacy Festival (June 7-9) hosted on Governors Island.

As part of this fellowship, selected applicants will work closely with IF lead artists over the course of a ten day intensive residency to develop new work for the public. If you are a practicing artist working in a specific discipline and would like to be part of creating site-specific interdisciplinary work please apply at the link.
