Submit Classified

PUTF is opening the newsletter to reader contributions.

If you’d like to promote something in the weekly newsletter, you can now submit a classified. Classifieds are short announcements (maximum 36 words) and can include ads, services you offer, art openings, event promotions, music releases, and more.

Please note: classifieds cannot be related to jobs or grants. Those should be submitted as listings instead. This section is intended for the community to share services, events, and creative projects. You’re also welcome to submit if you’re looking for work, searching for an apartment, or selling items (e.g., on eBay or Depop).

Pricing is on a sliding scale from $40–$200—pay what you can. Because space is limited, only a few entries will be included in each newsletter.

The Classified+ tier ($300) includes placement in the newsletter plus additional promotion on Instagram in a dedicated story post.

PUTF reserves the right to decline any ad that does not align with our values. If a submission is declined after payment, the fee will be fully refunded.

If you’re experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford the standard fee, you may submit the form and select the “Discount” tier. We will review your submission and may offer a 40% discounted rate. If approved, we’ll send a separate payment link. Please note that only one discounted spot is available per newsletter issue.

How it works:

1. Submit your classified ad using the form below.
2. Choose the appropriate tier (Discount, Sliding-Scale, Classified +).
3. Pay the classified fee (included 2.9% PayPal processing fee).

Submissions without payment will not be reviewed. Please note that regarding the discounted classified tier, please submit the form first and select “Discount” as the tier option. If your submission is selected, we will email you a payment link.
