Ridgewood, Queens — The Tallichet Freedman Foundation (TTFF) is excited to announce that applications for its Spring 2025 Micro Grant Cycle will be open from April 1 through April 30. The grants are unrestricted, free to apply for, and open to visual artists living or working in the Queens zip code of 11385, which includes parts of Ridgewood and Glendale.
Founded with a mission to support Ridgewood’s vibrant creative community, TTFF offers more than just funding. It fosters connection. Ten artists are awarded micro grants of $1,138.50 each, along with the opportunity to participate in a studio visit and a short interview, both of which are featured on TTFF’s website. This hands-on engagement provides valuable visibility and uplifts artists at all stages of their practice.
TTFF’s mission is intentionally hyperlocal, investing directly in the neighborhood’s creative fabric through small but meaningful gestures of support. The foundation encourages artists, neighbors, and community partners to help spread the word about its Spring Micro Grant opportunity!
