The Artist Publishing Practicum is a virtual crash course on pathways to book publishing, designed for artists and open to all. This year’s workshops are led by our generous community of designers, editors, authors, experimental publishers, book coaches, and more. All programs are virtual with closed captioning available; please share your access needs in the registration form.
Mutual aid support is available to cover the cost of registration and provide direct financial assistance to help with childcare, lost wages, and other expenses.

at Louis Place (aLP) is a liberatory community of writers that has provided over 150 writers with access to critique groups, co-writing sessions, guest workshops, peer review exchanges, and more. The online platform and asynchronous offerings enable aLP to prioritize writers who are parents, caregivers, disabled writers and writers with chronic illness, rural writers, and others whose access to in-person creative communities is limited.
