Accent Sisters (New York) is recruiting workshop leaders and masterclass instructors for our 2027 online writing program. We are looking for writers who lead with curiosity — in creative writing, hybrid writing, and forms that move across genres and media.
Two formats:
· Multi-week workshop — 4–9 weeks, one 2.5-hour session per week on Zoom, 6–20 students. Compensation: 50/50 split of net tuition revenue — instructors typically earn $1,500 to $5,000 per workshop, with longer, fully enrolled courses earning more.
· One-off masterclass / craft talk — a single 90-minute session on Zoom. Compensation: $200 flat fee.
Who we’re looking for:
· Literary writers with at least one published book (two or more a plus)
· Hybrid and cross-disciplinary writers with a substantial record of exhibitions, performances, or interdisciplinary work
· We especially welcome women writers, experimental writers, and immigrant / diasporic writers
· University-level teaching experience is a strong plus
Past and recent faculty include John Yau, Tan Lin, Diana Khoi Nguyen, kathy Wu, Vi Khi Nao, and Courtney Bush. Opportunity to curate an in-person reading, performance and exhibition at our Union Square gallery as an outcome of the coursework.
