Broadly, the successful candidate will be responsible for project managing and reporting deliverables using their in-house systems, as well as their contact database management, strategy and outreach oversight. You will be managing a number of media relation campaigns simultaneously, from large scale brand launches to smaller, product-specific media placements, while building and maintaining media contact relationships and outreach. Further, they you will own all internal asset development to fulfill targeted campaigns. This role is perfect for individuals with a few years of experience and an up to date list of contacts.
Project manage client deliverables:
Ideate and strategize brand and product narratives with agency leadership
Draft press releases, pitches, talking points, case studies, and media summaries, and coordinate all necessary materials with copywriters
Build and maintain relationships with media contacts
Manage media requests in a timely and professional manner
Pitch story ideas and content to strategic media contacts
Ensure all communication is cohesive with the client’s brand image and messaging
Organize, schedule, and prepare key stakeholders for press interviews
Client Reporting:
Track and analyze media coverage to inform future campaigns
Measure client and in-house PR program impacts using regular reporting
Prepare and send regular update reports to client and internal stakeholders
Project manage in-house deliverables:
Ideate with leadership regarding agency strategy execution
Build and maintain capability, case studies, and client profile decks

– Strong working knowledge of MuckRack, ClickUp and/or Airtable, with a proficiency in Microsoft Office
